CADCAM Programmer (CNC Machining)
Our client is a small company providing precision engineering solutions for low volume components and prototyping. Due to continued expansion they are now looking for an experienced CAD/CAM Programmer to off-line program to run their machining centres.
Job description
„h Program all forthcoming jobs using Solidworks/CamWorks
„h Design and program any necessary fixtures for forthcoming jobs
„h List and check tooling required for forthcoming jobs.
„h Ensure all data required is correct and available for machinists at required start time.
Mechanical Engineering Qualification, including programming using SolidWorks/CamWorks plus CNC machining experience
Skills required
High level of mechanical technical knowledge required in CNC machining and CAD/CAM programming
Forward thinking and able to plan ahead and identify potential problems or risks.
Able to use own initiative to overcome problems that arise.
Committed to continually improve processes and procedures.
Effective communication skills to create a proactive working environment with other work colleagues.
