An excellent opportunity for an ONC electronics engineer to join a progressive company at Junior level and undertake further training and education to HNC level.

Scope 

The testing and investigation of production products, faultfinding and rework.

Main Responsibilities

·         Reporting to Cell Leader

·         The testing of production high voltage power supplies and completion of test reports and documentation to the company’s quality management system

·         The upgrade and modification of production high voltage power supplies to change documentation to the company’s quality management system

·         To learn faultfinding techniques to component level

·         To complete the HNC in Electronic Engineering

·         To raise change documentation for any build documentation where relevant to the company’s quality management system

·         To liaise with Design and Sales as required

·         Keep informed and support EMS and improvement team activities and ISO9001 – Quality and ISO14001 – Environmental requirements.  Commit to achieving the Company business, Quality and Environmental objectives and policies.  Continuously seek new ‘green’ opportunities and suggest ways the business can improve

·         To carry out any other reasonable task as directed.

Education/Experience

ONC or equivalent in Electronic Engineering.

Experience in an electronics manufacturing environment and knowledge of high voltage test methods an advantage.

Knowledge/Skills Required

·         Familiar with relevant elements of the Company Quality Management System including static handling precautions

·         Familiar with the use of test equipment / systems and relevant test procedures / specifications

·         Aware of the dangers of working with high voltages and company’s safety requirements

·         Familiar with workmanship standards and repair techniques
